Welcome to the Hammond Middle School! Our PTA sponsors and supports many programs and events for HMS students, staff and the school community. These include: Student Enrichment, Structured Social Opportunities, Character Development, Student Assistance, Staff Appreciation and Providing Volunteers. Please see the upcoming events at the bottom of this page for PTA meeting dates and times. I encourage everyone to attend our meetings and learn more about Hammond Middle School and the PTA.
We are preparing for a week of well-deserved staff spoiling and would love to have your help. The HMS Staff will be traveling in style as we show them that they Make a World of Difference in our kids lives.

HMS Color Run
HMS Color Run is a 5K / 3.1 mile fun run/walk scheduled for May 11, 2019 (9:00 AM –12:00 PM). Buy Tickets by April 26th to save money & enter for a chance to win a gift card.

PTA is sponsoring a restaurant fundraiser at Shake Shack on Wednesday, April 24th. Head to Shake Shack anytime between 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Please present this flyer when you order.
Drive-thru EpiPen/Sharps and Medication Collection on Sat., April 27: Howard County's next convenient drive-thru collection for over-the-counter and prescription medication and “sharps” (needles, syringes and EpiPens) will be held on Saturday, April 27 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the Wilde Lake Village Center parking lot near the UPS Store. HC DrugFree and the Howard County Police urge you to clean out your medicine cabinets.
